We are a group of small animal practices based in Bideford, South Molton and Torrington, first established in 1917. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, our practices are open six days of the week with access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at the Bideford and South Molton practices.
Denise has worked for the practice since 1998, she started as a receptionist and has worked her way up to practice manager. She deals with all management, administration and financial aspects of the business for all three branches. Denise has three Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Rodney, Burt and Earney who she rehomed after they were brought into the practice as strays.
Nicole regularly works on reception but her main role is stock ordering for the hospital and stock control for all three sites. Nicole is kept busy with her three horses and is also a BHSAI (British Horse Society Advanced Instructor). On top of that she has three dogs and three cats to care for.
Kay has worked for the practice for over 30 years. She worked in the original practice for John Daniel in Buttgarden Street, Bideford. Kay is the main face on reception and deals with all the Healthy Pet Club registrations and queries. Kay enjoys helping rehabilitation of hedgehogs.
Denise is the longest serving member of the reception team having worked in the practice for over 30 years. She is another familiar face on the reception desk. Denise deals with all insurance queries and completion of insurance claims.
Donna joined our Torrington surgery in 1995 and is an experienced receptionist. She enjoys all aspects of her role and feels that making clients and their pets feel welcome is of paramount importance. She will often be your first point of contact for all your enquiries.
Vikki is a member of the South Molton reception team. She works alongside our other part-time receptionist, organising the daily running of the reception, stock control, registering Healthy Pet Club memberships and sending out routine treatment reminders.
Carole joined Torbridge Veterinary Hospital in 1989 and is an experienced receptionist working from our Torrington surgery. She is responsible for arranging client’s appointments to see a vet or nurse. Other responsibilities include stock ordering and stock control.
Steph joined us in 2014 as part of our new reception team at South Molton. As well as the daily running of the reception Steph deals with Healthy Pet Club registrations, stock ordering and routine reminders.
